This week in Ms. Mulvey’s class we learned all about forces. We played different games to demonstrate the difference between a pushing force and a pulling force. We discovered that friction is something that slows a moving object down (like the brake on the wheel of your bike!)
We also learned all about gravity. We decided to see if we could demonstrate resistance to the force of gravity using wind resistance. We did this by designing our very own parachutes! We were lucky we had a bit of wind outside to test our parachutes, one nearly got carried away altogether! What fantastic scientists we have in 3rd and 4th Class!
