Last week, Ms McManus’ 5th Class were the winners of the Secret Spies. The Secret Spies go around the school on spot checks each week to see how each class is getting on in keeping a Green Classroom. The spies check things like closed doors at lunch, lights off when the classroom is empty, recycling bins, interactive whiteboards turned off during lunch, radiators free to circulate heat, blinds down (3 pm) etc. Each week, there is a winning class and their prize is the teacher’s choice. Prizes range from a night off homework, extra art slot, free play to even popcorn/hot chocolate and a movie!! We were the winners this week and we chose hot chocolate and a movie! The hot chocolate was deeeeeeeeelicious….mmmm!!:-)
