This week we started our new class novel, “Her Mother’s Face” by Roddy Doyle. Roddy Doyle is a famous Irish author who writes books for adults as well as children. We love to read novels, and we have previously read “Fantastic Mr. Fox”, by Roald Dahl, another very famous author. We would like to thank our school secretary Carol for organising all the books for us to read from the local library. This story is very different from the stories we usually read, so please ask us about it!
