Parent Teacher Meetings: Parents/Teacher Meetings will be held in the school on Monday 4th & Tuesday 5th February. Your child’s teacher will send home your time to come in. Each parent will be allocated ten minutes and we ask you not to over stay this time. If your child goes to Mrs.Tiernan, Mrs.Ferris or Mrs. Levins it is very important that you see these teachers also.
First Confession: First Confession for 2nd Class (Ms.Clinton & Mr. Raftery) will be held in the school on Thursday February 21st at 7pm. All pupils with their parents are asked to be there at 6.50pm.
Mid-Term Break: The school will close for Mid-term Break on Thursday & Friday 14th & 15th February.
Quiz: Best of luck to the Quiz Teams from the school who will take part in the Credit Union Quiz on Sunday 3rd February at 2pm. This event will be held in Duleek G.N.S. Thanks to Ms. Mulvey for all her work. Senior Team: Darragh Barnes, Cormac Canning, Darren O Brien, Aaron Reilly.Junior Team: Calum Agnew, Harry Caffrey,Seb Lennon & Rónán McGee.
Chess Team: Congratulations to the School Chess Team who won their first game this week. Thanks to Mrs. Tiernan for her work with them.
Pantomime: Thanks to all the parents and pupils who supported the Pantomime last night and a big thank you to the Parents’ Association who put a lot of work into selling tickets etc. The Parents Association have recently given us €759.30 towards the cost of a new sound system/microphone etc. for which we are very grateful. Go raibh miath agaibh.
Junior Infants: All Junior Infants for September 2013 should be enrolled by now.
Entrance Tests: Entrance Tests for boys going to Secondary School this year will take place on Saturday February 2nd and we wish all our pupils the best of luck. Thank you to Mr.McDonald for all his efforts.
School Website: The School Website (www.duleekboys.scoilnet.ie) is frequently updated and contains postings etc. regarding events in classes and the school in general.
Road Safety: Again we ask you to remind your son(s) frequently about road safety etc. and we ask drivers not to park in the space between our school gate and the road.
